Nominations are now being taken for the Cork GAA Communications Award for Quarter 4, powered by Compu b, in association with Silver Springs Moran Hotel. The award will be presented in January 2014, and the process is a simple one. Nominations are invited from clubs, individuals, community groups, or anyone who feels that their local GAA club deserves to win this award.
Submissions should be emailed to pro.cork@gaa.ie, and will then be passed on to the judging panel for consideration. Details such as website links etc. should be included in the submission, along with any other relevant information. All forms of GAA communications are relevant, from websites and social media to local posters and signage, and photographs of such material can also be included. The closing date for receipt of nominations is Sunday December 15th.
The winning club will receive an Apple iPad courtesy of Compu b.
Short-listing will apply, and the judges' decision is final.
The judging panel for the Communications Awards consists of former County PRO and current Vice-Chairman, Gerard Lane, journalist Denis Hurley and Judy Hopkins of Hopkins Communications.
