A FBD Insurance sales advisor, John first played football when he was four, out in the garden with his father. He believes that control of the ball is the most important skill in football, and believes that there a restriction on the number of consecutive hand passes should be experimented with. His best football memory outside of playing has been watching Carbery Rangers going from a Junior Club to a Senior Club between 2003 and 2005, while as a player, it's the comebacks that Cork made in Croke Park in the 2010 Minor Championship that stand out in his memory. He also enjoys pitch-and-putt and hurling, and as a child, wanted to be James Bond! He would like to meet Muhammed Ali, and in ten years' time, hopes to be healthy and successful on and off the field.
