Brian first played football on the pier in Union Hall at the age of 6 and was Cork's top scorer in U21 2013, the year in which he also made his Senior début. He believes the kickpass is the most important skill in football, and would like to see more points awarded for scores kicked from outside the 45. His best football memory outside of playing was watching Liam Collins lift the Andy Scannell Cup when Castlehaven won the County SFC in 2003. Larry Tompkins is the greatest player he has ever seen, and if there was a transfer market, he would buy Bernard Brogan. He also enjoys soccer, golf and boxing, and as a child, wanted to be Superman! In ten years' time, he hopes to be alive.
