Biography

A student at UCC, Ian first played football in his front garden aged five, and the best advice he was given was to pass the ball when you can, not when you have to. The biggest influence on his football career has been his parents. He thinks catching is the most important skill in the game, and would like to see the clean pick-up introduced. His favourite sport other than football is basketball, and the person he would most like to meet is Roy Keane. The sporting event he would most like to attend is the Superbowl. Favourite G.A.A. player: Francis Bellow. The sportsperson he would most like to meet is Roy Keane. The hardest part of his sporting life is paying the toll to Fermoy. Toughest player to mark in training is John O Rourke. The ‘joker’ on the panel is Radio Ken - tune in when you work. Favourite Food: Eggs Benedict. Favourite Drink: foamy latte. Favourite Music: Kid Cudi - Eminem. Favourite Film: Deadpool.
