Paul plays with Nemo Rangers and studied at CIT. He is a teacher in Colaiste Chriost Ri. He has won a raft of honours, including captaining Cork to Munster U21 titles in 2005 and 2006, in addition to six County SFC medals with his club, a Corn Uà Mhuirà title and a Sigerson Cup victory with his college. He made his Senior debut in the 2008 Munster Final against Kerry, and first played football in Nemo Rangers street leagues many moons ago. He would like to see players allowed to pick the ball straight off the ground, and his favourite sport other than football is soccer. His best football memory outside of playing is Nemo's 2003 All-Ireland Club victory. The person he would most like to meet is Cheryl Cole!

Players he most admire are Sean Cavanagh and Stephen Cluxton for their consistency and Colm O Neill for his perseverence.

Hobbies: Not too much time for hobbies !! Going on holiday when I can, a bit of reading and 5-a-side soccer in the winter.
Advice to Youth: Train hard, make friends and enjoy playing games.
