Biography

Occupation: Strength & Conditioning coach, Eoin has played both hurling and football at Senior inter-county level but is currently concentrating on football. He first played hurling and football with his club in street leagues, and believes that kick passing in football and catching in hurling are the two most important skills in the games. If he could change anything about the GAA, he would like to see the introduction of a video referee for big decisions like penalties, black cards, red cards etc, which would take the pressure off referees if they're not certain about a call. His best GAA memories outside of playing include Cork's All-Ireland victories in 1990 and 1999, while as a player, the highlights have varied from winning an U12 County Hurling title with Douglas to winning an All-Ireland Senior Football medal with Cork! Brian Corcoran is the greatest player he has ever seen, biggest influence on his career are his club and family, sporting event that he would most like to attend is Mcgregor v Floyd Mayweather fight, to date his favourite moment in sport is 2010 All-Ireland Football Final, his favourite venue would be Semple Stadium, sportsperson he would most like to meet is Tom Brady. The hardest part of his sporting life is finding time to recover between training & games. If he won the lotto first thing he would buy is helicopter. His favourite holiday destination is South Africa, favourite Food is rice, cakes peanut butter & banana, favourite Drink is water, favourite Music dance music, favourite Film is sema. In ten years time he hope to be happy, healthy and continuing to progress in his professional career.
