The greatest player he has ever seen is Eoin Kelly, and he lists all the Cork backs at training as his toughest opponents ever. His favourite sport other than hurling is golf, and he's a big fan of Tiger Woods. As a child, he wanted to play in an All-Ireland Final, and he tells us that Anthony Nash can verify that he's also good at pool. Marooned on a desert island, he could not be without Brian (White Flag) Meany, who never fails to make him laugh, and in ten years' time, he hopes to be still hurling with the Glen.
