The Round 3 draws for the SFC, SHC, PIFC and PIHC will take place next Monday 13th August in Pairc Uí Rinn at 7.30pm. There will be a live streaming of the draws on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pg/OfficialCorkGAA/videos. The draws will also be posted on the website immediately after the draw.
The format for the various draws is outlined below.
Premier Intermediate Football Championship
Round 3 – 11 teams. Three games, plus 5 byes. Losers eliminated
Quarter-finals – Eight teams
Semi-finals – Four teams

Premier Intermediate Football Draw Procedure
- The seven winning teams from Round 1 are placed in the pot and five bye teams are drawn.
- The first team drawn will be A in the quarterfinal, the second team drawn will be B and the third team drawn will be C, the fourth team drawn will be D and fifth team drawn will E. These teams will go straight to the quarterfinal draw.
- Round 3 will now be drawn. The three winning teams from Round 2 and the Bye team from Round 2 will be added to the remaining two Round 1 teams in the pot. There will be six teams in this draw.
- Teams that played each other in Round 1 will not be paired in Round 3
- The first two teams drawn will play each other and this pair will be F in the quarterfinal draw. The second two teams will be a pair and this pair will be G in the quarterfinal draw. The final two teams will be a pair in Round 3 and will be H in the quarterfinal draw.

Procedures for Senior Football Championship Draw
- There will be eight games in Round 3. These fixtures will be called A, B, C and so on to H.
- The four teams in last year’s Senior County Football semi-finals to be seeded. These teams are Nemo Rangers, St Finbarrs, Carbery Rangers and Duhallow.
- The four seeded teams to be placed in the pot. The first team drawn will be the first team in fixture A, the second team drawn will be the first team in fixture C, the third team drawn will be the first team in fixture E and the final team drawn will be the first team in fixture G.
- The remain 12 non-seeded teams will then be place in the pot.
- The first team drawn will play the seeded team already drawn in fixture A. The next two teams drawn will play each other in fixture B. The next team drawn will play the seeded team in Fixture C and so on until the Draw is complete.
- Pairings that have already played in Round 1 of the Championship will be avoided if possible.
- The Draw for Round 3 will determine the remainder of the Draw ie.
