Scór for the coming season 2013/14 will be launched at Rochestown Park on Thursday 7th November, 2013, at 8pm by the Mayor of Cork County, Mr Noel O Connor.  All County Board and Divisional Officers, Club Secretaries and those involved with Scór in Divisions and Clubs are invited to attend. 

Generally, Scór is holding well since established back in 1969. It offers a real practical platform for clubs to promote Irish culture in a meaningful and enjoyable manner and is a great social outlet for the winter months.  

The key attraction of Scór is that it brings people into Clubs who are not necessarily interested in the sporting side of GAA.  There is potential to bring your Club to all the community thus increasing membership, support and greater community interest in the games. Many counties are using this concept to grow the club unit so let us do likewise to promote our clubs throughout the Cork city and county.
