Sunday last, June 14^th was an action packed day of activity for all the Rebel Óg Academy teams with all football squads from U14 to U17 attending the Cork v Clare Senior Football Championship game in Pairc Ui Rinn. Almost 180 players were present for the event which also included a barbeque at the Silver Quay nearby.

Earlier that morning the Rebel Óg U17 footballers beat Clare U17s in a challenge game in Nemo Rangers. This was followed by a close game against Valley Rovers U21s on Wednesday evening. 

The U15 & U16 football squads had fitness tests in the Mardyke Arena where players were assessed on their mobility, strength and speed, while the East and West U14 panels trained in St Michael’s where they had a session with involvement from former Senior Manager Conor Counihan.

The respective hurling Academy teams also trained on Sunday morning ahead of some important fixtures this weekend.
